What! You too? I thought I was the only one.

There is a verse in the book of Ecclesiastes that says, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.”

We all have a story. We all have our own struggles. I’ve opened up about my journey these last few years and found something very special: when I share something that’s been hard or a struggle I’ve had, it has the ability to lift others and encourage them. It makes my struggles worth it if I can use my experiences to encourage someone else.

I created this space to connect and hopefully encourage other women, to share tools and resources that have helped me navigate this journey of becoming the woman God has called me to be. I’ve struggled with low self-esteem and body image for way too long, letting my weight rule over me for most of my life. I recognize now that the Enemy wants me to feel insecure and ashamed so I will be too distracted and focused on myself to share the Good News of Jesus. No more!

I think it is important to care for our physical bodies …but we have eternity to look forward to, and I don’t want to miss out on anything God may be calling me to do!

  1. I love this CS Lewis quote! Looking forward to seeing what else God lays on your heart to write in this adventure. 🙂
